Feedback safety
- Start with speaker volume low.
- Use headphones when setting up a live input for the first time.
- Keep guitar pickups away from loud speakers.
- Leave standalone input muted until the correct device and output are selected.
- Disable interface direct monitoring if it creates a parallel dry signal you do not want.
Latency
Lower buffer sizes feel more immediate but use more CPU. Higher buffer sizes are more stable but add delay.
For live playing, start around 64 or 128 samples if your interface and computer are stable. Increase the buffer if you hear clicks or dropouts.
CPU
Some models need more CPU than others. If a session gets heavy, freeze or bounce tracks, close unused instances, or switch to a lighter mode when available in the footer controls.
