Legal and privacy contact: privacy@nouratone.com

Nouratone Inc. is a Canadian company. NAM Rig and Nouratone names, logos, product designs, website assets, backend systems, and related materials are owned by Nouratone Inc. or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nouratone Inc. collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you use namrig.com, beta.namrig.com, the NAM Rig account and download flows, NAM Rig, and related online services.

For this policy, "Nouratone", "we", "us", and "our" mean Nouratone Inc. We are the controller or responsible organization for personal information we collect for our own services. Third-party services that you choose to use, including Moonbase, TONE3000, and Freshdesk, may also process your information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information We Collect

Account, contact, and marketing information

When you claim the free plugin, create an account, sign in, request downloads, or subscribe to updates, we may collect your email address, account identifiers, product ownership status, download eligibility, newsletter and product-update preferences, and related account events. Free-plugin claim requests are used to provision access through Moonbase and to confirm required newsletter and product-update consent.

Support requests

When you select a Contact us link on a FAQ page, the Freshdesk support widget is loaded from Freshworks with its launcher hidden. If you submit a request, Nouratone and Freshworks may process the name, email address, subject, description, attachments, ticket history, page context, and basic browser or request information needed to deliver, route, secure, troubleshoot, and respond to support.

Product, license, activation, and diagnostics data

NAM Rig may connect to Nouratone, Moonbase, TONE3000, and related service providers for licensing, activation, authentication, analytics, updates, support, security, product improvement, marketing, and operation of the free product. Product-related data may include product edition, product version, license status, account or session status indicators, device and environment details, host or wrapper type, launch and session events, feature configuration, diagnostic events, and network request metadata.

NAM Rig is not designed to collect payment card numbers, passwords, audio content, project content, local file paths, model names, impulse response names, TONE3000 OAuth tokens, or other sensitive local project content as analytics fields.

TONE3000 connection data

When you connect TONE3000, we process the OAuth handoff through Nouratone broker endpoints so TONE3000 can return login results to NAM Rig. This may include OAuth state, callback status, authorization result status, selected TONE3000 tone identifiers returned by TONE3000, browser status reports, route markers, limited user-agent diagnostics, and license or activation results. TONE3000 credentials and OAuth tokens are handled by the plugin and TONE3000 flow; NAM Rig does not request or store your TONE3000 password.

Website, API, and security logs

Our hosting, security, and API systems may process IP address, request URL, timestamps, request identifiers, response status, user agent, route, error, rate-limit, and diagnostic information. Free-plugin claim rate limits use hashed email and IP-derived keys. OAuth and activation state is stored temporarily so the plugin and browser can complete the connection flow.

Cookies and local storage

namrig.com itself does not use advertising cookies. Moonbase embedded storefront scripts may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, render account state, manage downloads, and operate account flows. After you select Contact us, the Freshdesk widget may use cookies or similar browser storage to operate the support form, maintain the support session, prevent abuse, and associate messages with a ticket. The NAM Rig app may store authentication tokens or related session data locally using operating-system credential storage where available, such as Keychain on macOS and equivalent secure credential facilities on Windows.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide and secure NAM Rig, create and manage accounts, provision free plugin access, provide downloads, operate NAM Rig licensing and activation, connect TONE3000, verify license or activation requests, prevent abuse and fraud, rate-limit automated or excessive requests, diagnose errors, improve product reliability and user experience, send newsletter and product updates when you consent or where otherwise permitted, respond to support and legal requests, and comply with applicable law.

Legal Bases

Where law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent, including for newsletter and product-update subscriptions; performance of a contract or requested service, including account access, downloads, licensing, and TONE3000 connection flows; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, debugging, improving, and protecting NAM Rig; and compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time by using unsubscribe controls in emails or by changing account preferences where available. If those controls are unavailable, contact marketing-consent-withdrawal@nouratone.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect processing needed to provide the product, keep your account secure, or comply with law.

Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only as needed for the purposes above. Service providers and integration partners may include:

  • Moonbase, for account, storefront, license, download, activation, and communication-preference services.
  • TONE3000, when you choose to connect a TONE3000 account, browse signed-in TONE3000 content, authorize OAuth, or load content from TONE3000.
  • Freshworks and Freshdesk, when you choose to open the FAQ support widget or submit and continue a support request.
  • AWS and related infrastructure providers, for hosting, content delivery, API processing, logs, rate limiting, secrets management, and security.
  • Email, support, analytics, security, and operations providers where needed to send requested messages, operate the service, measure reliability, detect abuse, or resolve issues.
  • Law enforcement, courts, regulators, counterparties, or professional advisors if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in California privacy law.

International Processing

Nouratone is based in Canada, and our providers and integration partners may process information in Canada, the United States, Europe, and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Account, license, download, and communication-preference records are generally kept while your account or product access remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. OAuth callback state, browser status, activation state, and free-plugin rate-limit records are designed to expire automatically after short operational windows. API and Lambda logs are retained for limited operational periods. We may keep de-identified, aggregated, or security records where they no longer identify you or where retention is needed to protect the service.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including HTTPS transport, private storage buckets, access controls, encrypted secrets, limited operational logs, temporary OAuth state, rate limiting, and provider-side security controls. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should use strong account credentials and keep your operating system, browser, DAW, and NAM Rig installation up to date.

Your Rights And Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to, or withdraw consent for processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator or supervisory authority. California residents may request access, correction, deletion, portability, and information about disclosures, and may exercise rights without discriminatory treatment.

To make a privacy request, contact privacy@nouratone.com. We may need to verify your identity and account relationship before acting on a request. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization and may still verify your identity directly where allowed by law.

You can control browser storage through your browser settings, unsubscribe from marketing emails through unsubscribe links, disconnect or revoke TONE3000 access through the relevant account controls where available, and remove locally stored app credentials through operating-system credential tools or NAM Rig account controls where available.

Children

NAM Rig is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under a higher age where local law requires parental consent. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact privacy@nouratone.com.

Automated Decisions

We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement. Some service operations are automated, including license checks, activation checks, account-session checks, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. These operations determine whether a request can proceed, whether a feature is available, or whether an error or retry message is shown.

Changes

We may update this page as NAM Rig, its integrations, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated version will be posted here with a new last-updated date. Material changes may be announced through the website, app, account flow, or email where appropriate.
