Start at the input
Set your interface so the clean guitar input is healthy but not clipping. Then use NAM Rig Input Gain for small adjustments before the model chain.
If the input meter is barely moving, raise interface gain or check the selected input. If it is clipping, lower the interface gain first.
Gate
Gate reduces noise when you are not playing. If quiet notes or sustain disappear, lower the Gate control until the note decay feels natural.
At the lowest setting, Gate is effectively off. At high settings, it closes more aggressively.
Output balance
- Pedal Out sets the pedal slot level.
- Pedal Mix blends the pedal slot when used.
- Amp Out sets the amp slot level.
- Cab Out sets the cab or IR stage level.
- Mix blends processed and dry signal.
- Output Gain sets the final output level.
